Research

I am a recent MSCS NYU Courant graduate, where I’ve worked on video diffusion models and world models advised by Prof. Saining Xie. My research interests lie in world models, representation learning, foundational multimodal models, and agent learning.

Previously, I interned with Prof. Lerrel Pinto working on robot learning at the NYU CILVR lab. Before that, I spent eight years in industry as a software engineer, specializing in backend engineering and distributed systems. I was a founding engineer at Edwin, a Y Combinator-backed EdTech startup. Additionally, I created an open-source library Scany and served as the technical co-founder of Scifind, a troubleshooting platform for bioscientists. I received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Russian University of Cooperation.

Me

I live in New York City. Outside of work, I like exploring new areas around the city on my fixie bike and ranking saunas (Spa88 and Bathhouse are at the top). I love extreme sports. I recently tried downhill mountain biking, but freeride snowboarding is my all-time favorite, and I will soon be going on my first cat skiing trip. I also enjoy reading creative nonfiction memoirs (The Glass Castle and Educated are the best) and writing stories.
