I am a second-year Master’s student in Computer Science at NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. I work on generative AI advised by Prof. Saining Xie. My research interests lie in world models, representation learning, digital agents, and multimodal learning.

Previously, I interned with Prof. Lerrel Pinto working on robot learning at the NYU CILVR lab. Before that, I spent eight years in industry as a software engineer, specializing in backend engineering and distributed systems. I was a founding engineer at Edwin, a Y Combinator-backed EdTech startup. Additionally, I created an open-source library Scany and served as the technical co-founder of Scifind, a troubleshooting platform for bioscientists. I received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the Russian University of Cooperation.

Me

I live in New York City. Outside of work, I like exploring new areas around the city on my fixie bike and ranking saunas (Spa88 and Bathhouse are at the top). I love extreme sports. I recently tried downhill mountain biking, but freeride snowboarding is my all-time favorite, and I will soon be going on my first cat skiing trip. I also enjoy reading creative nonfiction memoirs (The Glass Castle and Educated are the best) and writing stories.
